Job Purpose:

We are seeking a results-driven Business Manager to lead and manage operations related to the ECO4 government energy efficiency scheme, including the delivery of boiler and insulation grants. The Business Manager will ensure full compliance with scheme requirements, optimize operational performance, and support the growth of the company’s presence across the UK.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations and workflow of the ECO4 scheme delivery (from eligibility checks to installation).

  • Ensure compliance with Ofgem regulations and ECO4 scheme requirements.

  • Manage and support staff across departments (surveyors, assessors, installers, external contractor, admin).

  • Liaise with energy companies, local authorities, and subcontractors.

  • Monitor performance metrics (KPI tracking, grant approval rates, completion timelines).

  • Prepare and submit accurate documentation and reports to relevant authorities.

  • Control project budgets, cost efficiencies, and profitability.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to boost operational efficiency.

  • Manage customer satisfaction, complaints, and retention.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven experience in business or operations management (energy or ECO sector preferred).

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.

  • Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.

  • Financial acumen with budget control experience.

  • Proficiency with CRM/project management tools (e.g., Salesforce, Trello, HubSpot).

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Energy Management, or related field (preferred).

  • Certifications in project management or energy compliance (desirable).
